Head office — Ben Aknoun
The Director General of the Office of University Publications, Mr Zine El Abidine Boumlit, received Professor Mohamed Chattouti, lecturer and researcher in psychology, adviser, and author of a rich scientific and intellectual body of more than 100 titles in literature, philosophy and psychology. Fourteen of his books have been published by the Office.
The meeting discussed reprinting his work “Dictionary of philosophical, logical and psychological terms, with methods of analysis” in a trilingual edition, adding English to Arabic and French.
It was also an opportunity to discuss Professor Chattouti’s presence at the Algiers International Book Fair on the Office’s stand.
The visit follows the Ministry of Higher Education’s guidance to strengthen university publishing in English and the translation of Algerian scientific and pedagogical works.
